For the SF100 Daily Revitalize Filter and the SF220 Daily Essential Filter backwash process, follow these steps:

  • Open the shower filter.
  • Remove the cartridge and hold it with the mesh end facing the shower and the opposite side facing the shower arm.
  • Replace the cartridge and tightly close the filter unit casing.
  • Run room temperature water through the filter unit until it comes out clear.
  • Open and flip once more so the mesh end is now facing the head.
  • Note: The cartridge can be re-installed in either direction.
  • Replace and close again. Continue use as normal.
