What makes the Daily Revitalize+ (SF400) different from other aquabliss shower filters?
The SF400 contains 40% more active filtration medium and double the Vitamin C and minerals compared to standard aquabliss shower filter cartridges. Making it our most enriching option for customers who want both contaminant reduction and active water enrichment.
Is it compatible with my shower fitting?
The Daily Revitalize+ is designed to fit standard shower fittings. Thread seal tape is included in the box to ensure a secure, leak-free connection.
Does it reduce water pressure?
No. The Daily Revitalize+ uses MaxFlow Technology, designed to maintain your water pressure while filtering.
What sediment guards are included, and when should I replace them?
Two replaceable sediment guards are pre-installed. These should be changed when you notice a reduction in flow, or as part of your regular cartridge replacement. We recommend replacing the cartridge every 3–6 months. Chlorine levels in your area can affect how quickly the cartridge reaches the end of its lifespan.
Can this filter reduce chloramine?
The Daily Revitalize+ can reduce chloramine. If you know your water supply uses chloramine rather than chlorine, this is the filter we'd recommend. For consistently high chloramine levels, a whole-house filter may offer more complete coverage.
We recently started to smell a stronger chlorine odor in our water. I also noticed that my hair was getting dull, dry and hard to style. I have using the same products for years since it kept my hair healthy. The only thing that changed was our water. I installed the filter and my hair is now almost back to where it was. It’s softer, less brittle and easier to style.
Honest Review IMHO: Key difference between the two is chlorine/chloramine filtration and the 500 is better specifically for “chloramine” (chlorine + ammonia). But the 400 has the extra Vit C and Minerals, Zeolite and Tourmaline to help truly polish the water. Did you know that Vit C (Sodium Ascorbate) actually neutralizes chlorine?! For best chloramine (10 x stronger chlorine bonding) filtering, I personally have my water go through a premium solely-focused chloramine filter (filters chlorine too) first, then it goes thru the SFC400 to polish everything up with the Vit C, minerals, zeolite and tourmaline that truly took away my dry, itchy skin after the first shower!! As the second filter, it should sweep up any crumbs left over from the first filter and focus on infusing the additional minerals. BUT.., if your primary battle is specifically “chloramine”, you’ll want to probably get the SFC500. For a truly more overall great feel and protection of skin and if your water supply is primarily chlorine, then the SFC400 is the way to go with all its extra revitalizing layers! I love my SFC400!! And you might want to look into their replacement cartridge subscription plan like I did to get 10% off and not worry about “when” to replace it—when the new one arrives, just replace it. Easy peezy! ;)
