How does the Daily Essential+ Filter Cartridge (SFC500) differ from the Daily Essential (SFC220) and Daily Revitalize (SFC100)?
The Daily Essential+ and Daily Revitalize+ are the latest generation of aquabliss replacement cartridges, developed with a proprietary filtration system designed for more demanding water conditions. They are compatible with the SF400 and SF500 shower filters only. The SFC220 and SFC100 filter cartridges are designed for the Daily Revitalize (SF100) and Daily Essential (SF220) filters.
What's the difference between the Daily Essential+ Filter Cartridge (SFC500) and Daily Revitalize+ (SFC400)?
The SFC500 focuses on contaminant reduction – chlorine, sediment and organic impurities – without the enrichment stage. The SFC400 includes the same filtration plus Vitamin C, mineral and tourmaline infusion, designed to actively support skin, hair and nail condition with regular use. If enrichment matters to you, the SFC400 is the better fit. If you want maximum filtration performance, choose the SFC500.
How often should I replace the cartridge?
We recommend replacing every 6 months for optimal performance. If your water contains high levels of chlorine or other contaminants, you may need to replace it more frequently.
Which filters is this compatible with?
The Daily Essential+ Filter Cartridge is compatible with the aquabliss Daily Essential+ (SF500) and Daily Revitalize+ (SF400) shower filters only. It is not compatible with the SF220 or SF100.
Can it reduce chloramine?
The Daily Essential+ Filter Cartridge can reduce chloramine. If you know your supply uses chloramine rather than chlorine, this is the cartridge we'd recommend. For consistently high chloramine levels, a whole-house filter may offer more complete coverage.
