Yes. The SF100 reduces chloramine, along with chlorine, sediment, and other organic impurities in your water. If you know your water supply uses chloramine rather than chlorine, this is the filter we'd recommend. For consistently high chloramine levels, a whole-house filter may offer more complete coverage.

The Daily Essential+ (SF500) contains 44% more filtration media than the Daily Essential (SF220) , along with removable sediment guards, a universal adapter and upgraded no-leak seals – making it the better choice for heavier-duty performance or more demanding water conditions.

No. The Daily Essential+ is designed to maintain full water flow throughout its filtration stages.

We recommend replacing the cartridge every 3–6 months. Chlorine levels in your area can affect how quickly the cartridge reaches the end of its lifespan. 

The Daily Essential+ (SF500) can reduce chloramine. If you know your supply uses chloramine rather than chlorine, this is our recommended filter. For consistently high chloramine levels, a whole-house filter may offer more complete coverage.

The Daily Essential+ (SF500) uses a standard ½" connection and includes a universal adapter, making it compatible with all standard fixed, rain, handheld and combo shower heads.

TDS meters are not the most effective way to measure chlorine or THM reduction. For accurate results, we recommend using a specialized chlorine colorimeter test.
