Please note: shipping is limited by flow rate, not by the product
The Standard set includes the 2.5 GPM shower head (AB-FS100). It can't currently ship to New York, Colorado, California or Washington because of state water flow regulations. If you're in one of those states, choose the Eco set (1.8 GPM, AB-FS100-ECO) at checkout. It's built to meet each of those states' flow-rate limits, so it ships everywhere the Standard set can't.
What's in the set
- Aquabliss SF500 Daily Essential+ Shower Filter: our most heavy-duty shower filter, with 44% more filtration media and 2 removable sediment guards fitted
- Aquabliss FS100 Daily Spa Shower Head: 42 self-cleaning nozzles, an extra-wide spray and an adjustable pivoting joint
- Aquabliss Reusable Sediment Guards (SFPADS), 30-pack: 15 fresh pairs for your SF500
Filtered water, a fuller spray, spares on hand
Each piece does one job well. Together, they cover your whole shower. The set is designed for households where water quality is a real concern, whether that's a chlorine smell, sediment-heavy water or skin that reacts easily. Nothing to piece together, nothing to think about.
How it fits together
Shower arm, then filter, then shower head. Both the SF500 and FS100 use standard ½" connections. Twist the filter onto your shower arm, twist the shower head onto the filter, and you're done. A universal adapter and thread seal tape are included. No tools, no plumber. If you can twist a jar lid, you can install it.
Multi-stage filtration, every layer considered
Every layer in the SF500 Daily Essential+ serves a purpose. There are no fillers and no unnecessary complexity:
- Sediment guards block large sediments including sand, dirt and loose mineral deposits
- Ultra-fine stainless steel mesh captures medium-sized particles
- Micro-porous PP cotton traps fine sediments, dust and impurities
- Twice-strength calcium sulfite helps to reduce chlorine in both hot and cold water
- Redox media further helps to reduce chlorine and catches additional deposits
- Activated carbon (coconut shell) helps to reduce chlorine, THMs and organic impurities
- PP cotton and stainless steel mesh help keep filtered media from re-entering your water
Designed with sensitive skin in mind
Chlorine and sediment in everyday shower water may contribute to dry, irritated or reactive skin. The SF500 is formulated with sensitive and eczema-prone skin in mind. Fewer contaminants in your water means a kinder daily routine for your skin and scalp. Many customers with sensitive skin report feeling a noticeable difference with regular use.
A fuller, more even shower
The FS100 Daily Spa has an extra-wide spray pattern and an adjustable pivoting joint, so you can direct the stream exactly where you need it. Full coverage, no awkward angles, no cold spots.
On the Standard set (2.5 GPM), 42 independent high-pressure channels push water through each nozzle for a strong, enveloping stream from the first turn of the shower. The Eco set (1.8 GPM) uses the same nozzle design at a lower flow rate to meet state limits.
Heavy-duty filtration shouldn't mean a weaker shower. The SF500 is designed to maintain strong water flow, so the shower head gets the water it needs.
Self-cleaning nozzles, no descaling
Mineral deposits and sediment buildup are among the most common causes of reduced shower pressure. The FS100's silicone nozzles are designed to self-clean with every use. No descaling, no scrubbing. Your flow stays consistent without you having to think about it.
Sediment guards: the first line of filtration
The SF500 comes with 2 guards fitted, one at each end of the cartridge. They catch large suspended particles before they reach the filtration media inside, so every layer behind them can do its job. Without them, debris can clog the media and slow your flow.
The guards rinse clean and can be reused multiple times. When they reach the end of their life, the 30-pack gives you 15 fresh pairs, ready to go.
Signs it's time to rinse or replace
If your flow starts to feel lighter, that's your signal. It usually means the guards have done their job and need a rinse. If flow doesn't come back after rinsing, swap in a fresh pair.
How to replace your sediment guards
- Open the shower filter housing and remove the cartridge
- Twist the end caps on each end of the cartridge counterclockwise
- Replace the sediment guard at each end of the cartridge
- Reassemble the cartridge and place it back inside the filter housing
- Screw the filter back onto your shower arm, and you're done
What does the set help reduce?
Depending on your local supply, the water coming through your shower can carry more than you'd expect. The SF500 combines several filtration media, each targeting a different type of impurity, to reduce them before they reach your skin and hair.
Chlorine
Chlorine is used to disinfect public water supplies, which means it's in your shower water too. You may not notice it until the water heats up and that familiar pool-like smell rises with the steam. The SF500 uses twice-strength calcium sulfite, redox media and coconut shell activated carbon to reduce chlorine in both hot and cold water. The aim isn't to undo water disinfection. It's to reduce how much chlorine reaches your skin and hair every time you shower.
Sediment, sand and fine particles
Not every impurity is dissolved. Some are physical particles: sand, loose mineral deposits, dust and other sediment. The SF500 traps them in stages. The sediment guards catch the largest particles first, stainless steel mesh captures medium-sized particles, and PP cotton traps the finest sediment and dust. With 30 spare guards in the set, you're ready for heavier sediment loads.
THMs and organic impurities
When chlorine reacts with naturally occurring organic matter in water, it can form compounds called trihalomethanes (THMs). Water suppliers monitor THM levels, but some can remain in treated water. Coconut shell activated carbon, a higher-grade source than standard carbon, helps reduce THMs, chlorine and other organic impurities and odors.
Is this set right for your water?
The best setup isn't the one with the longest feature list. It's the one that matches your water. This set may be the right fit if:
- Your water has a noticeable chlorine smell
- You have sediment-heavy water and want extra particle filtration
- You're concerned about more than one type of impurity
- You want a new shower head and filter in one step
- You'd like spare sediment guards on hand rather than reordering
Not sure what's in your water? Start with your local water-quality report or a water test. Knowing your main concern, whether that's chlorine, sediment, metals, hardness or something else, points you to the right filter.
The SF500 filters the water at your shower. It's designed to reduce specific impurities, not remove every dissolved mineral or solve every household water-quality issue. For those, a whole-house water softener or a drinking-water filtration system may be more appropriate.
Built to last
Brass ball joint, durable chrome finish and upgraded no-leak seals, designed for long-term performance. From design to delivery, every decision is intentional. Nothing is rushed, everything serves a purpose.
